To start the month of August, Butterfly stayed with a friend while FigNewTon and I traveled to a Fine Arts Competition. So, much like July, the hours from the first half of the month were learning while living. Both girls experienced things that they would not have been exposed to in any other situation. Butterfly did a lot of Math while FigNewTon had opportunity to practice her Sign Language skills. Both went places and did things completely outside of our normal. Butterfly went to COSI. FigNewTon went to the Chrysler Museum. It was a fabulous way to begin the school year.
